The Jersey Shore Oakland Raiders Booster Club and Bar Anticipation, will once again be collecting items to send over to our troops who are stationed in Iraq! Your donations will be greatly appreciated. Below is a condensed list of items requested specifically by the troops to help their make stay in Iraq a little easier!!
- Magazines/Books (requested – Time, US, Harley, Cosmo, SI)
- Fabric softener/fabric sheets/laundry soap
- Soft socks/warm gloves
- Oreos/cookies/crackers
- DVD’s/CD’s/PS2 games/hand held games/crossword puzzles
- Hot Cocoa/Hot Cider mix/powdered drink mixes
- Pens and Note pads so they can write home
- Puzzles and board games/playing cards
- Razors/shaving cream/shaving mirror/body wash Toothpaste/deodorant/shampoo/q-tips
- Beef jerky/Slim Jims/Nuts
- Small rugs
- Crystal lite/Coffee/tea bags
- Jelly beans/hard candy/chewing gum
- Cup-o-noodles/oatmeal
- Microwave popcorn
- International phone cards (any amount)
- Nail clippers/vitamins
- Large milk bones/chew toys for the K-9 dogs
- Batteries (specifically AA and AAA)
- All snack foods (nothing that can melt in transit)
- Silly string (for finding wire leading to bombs in and around buildings)
- Instant cameras for the to take pics of themselves and send back to us.
Also, please take the time to write out a “Dear Soldier” Seasons Greatings card to include with the items (include your email and/or home address so you can keep in touch with them)!!
