Any Soldier Support Drive
JSRBC Charity and Fundraiser Officer Teri Russell and her husband Tim have donated lots of their personal time collecting items for our troops over in Iraq. Collecting these items is half the challenge: getting the items over to Iraq is yet another hurdle as monies are needed to ship these items overseas.

On Sunday November 18th, the JSRBC held a raffle where the proceeds were to go towards funds to pay for postage for shipment over to Iraq. The folks at Bar Anticipation came through in a big way as over $100 dollars was raised for this cause, which will cover the cost of shipping - but that was only half the story. The raffle winner was Russ Zilinski from Belmar, NJ. Russ donated his winnings back to the JSRBC. Turns out that Russ has his own special ties to the troops in Iraq.
Russ and his family are behind runwithdennis.org
The LT Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was established in 2006. The mission is to help disabled service members and their families on their return home from deployment, and to fund Memorial Scholarships, at Christian Brothers Academy in Dennis’ name. The LT Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Fund was created in honor of LT Dennis W. Zilinski II who was killed in Iraq while serving with 1/187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division.
We thank all fans who donated to today's raffle. We ask that you kindly support the Zilinski family's mission at runwithdennis.org.
Finally, thanks again to Russ Zilinski for donating back his raffle winnings – football and good will once again come together to further the cause of charity.
