Al Davis has proved that he
cares about players long after
they leave the game by:
Hiring former players to
football and front office jobs;
Honoring them at Raiders' and
public celebrations;
Developing a sense of family
among players;
Advising and counseling players
as they move into second careers.
For his many contributions
to the men who played the game,
Al Davis receives the first |
NFLPA Award of Excellence
